THE WISDOM OF JULIAN NORWICH
Julian of Norwich lived through the dreadful bubonic plague that killed close to 50% of Europeans. Being an anchoress, she ‘sheltered in place’ and developed a deep wisdom that she shared in her book, Showings, which was the first book in English by a woman. A theologian way ahead of her time, Julian develops a feminist understanding of God as mother at the heart of nature’s goodness.
Matthew Fox shares her teachings in this powerful and timely and inspiring book and will be with Brentwood Inspired Living Center on April 25th 10AM PST to share her message.

All of Julian’s teachings are an expression of the profound truth that All is One with God and Nature.
If ever a book was written for this time of pandemic chaos and transformation, it is this one.
I am grateful to the wise and joyous voice of Matthew Fox, who helps mystics like Julian of Norwich—and her sister mystic, Hildegard of Bingen—sing across the centuries and transfigure our hearts now, when we need them most.
—from the foreword by Mirabai Starr
What a book of consolation! Matthew Fox once again brings to the reader Julian’s mystical insights into the oneness of all.
--Sr. Simone Campbell, SSS
Matthew Fox's "Julian" is the answer to the spiritual and emotional meaning of a pandemic. It turns both the frustration and the fear of Covid-19 into a period of new insight into the spiritual life. --Sr. Joan Chittister, OSB
What Fox has done with Hildegard, Eckhart, and Aquinas himself, makes him a major teacher and guide. Now in our parallel time of pandemic, he does it again with Lady Julian of Norwich! --Richard Rohr, OFM

Zen Master Jion will share his message with the Brentwood Inspired Living Community on July 4.
Jion and his coaching gave me the opportunity to become more aware of my evolutionary process. This is a way for me to take the distance on my daily life and to observe, accept and possibly change my unconscious mechanisms. This is an opportunity to become aware of myself and others, as well as work on my self-reliance, self-acceptance and my self-esteem. This type of individual work is a process in itself and comprises different phases that follow the rhythm of my life. It is a comprehensive approach that not only the psychological aspect, but actually create the link between the body, mind and heart. It is a method that opens a door on spirituality and unity. I can only recommend.
-Miège Bérénice (France)
There isn’t one single conversation we have without me learning at least one thing from you. Some of the most important achievements of my self discovery and spiritual development quest I have conquered through my work with you Jion: learning to face and overcome my weaknesses, facing and dissolving pain coming from the past and turning it into a fueling energy, making peace with myself by overcoming the guilt feeling, mindful breathing and breathing focused meditation and perhaps the highest blessing of all – living from the heart instead of mind. I know I was fully aware and prepared, but I also know that your extremely valuable work and experience were the catalyst that made it all happen. I am very grateful and will always whole heartedly recommend Jion´s Work.
DANIEL BRUCE LEVIN
JULY18 10AM PST
Daniel is a visionary and author of the book THE MOSAIC, a beautiful fable that touches the heart and soothes the soul. To this day, Danny feels that the characters of the fable actually wrote this story.
Daniel Bruce Levin walked away from a huge opportunity (to work his way up from pushing a broom to running a billion dollar business), to hitchhike around the world to find happiness and inner peace. His life has been dedicated to finding the peace and contentment that comes from truly knowing yourself. His mission has become holding the space for others to find that peace too.
Daniel will share his wisdom with the Brentwood Inspired Living Community on July 18th!
Danny is a one of a kind visionary who will bring you and your company to a whole new level.
-Reid Tracy, CEO Hay House
It is rare that a story today qualifies for the true meaning of a fable but this one does. Like Aesop’s fables, the most say it contains one wisdom lesson after another told by characters Dash some of whom dwell in this world and others in the next. A fun read.
In The Mosaic, Daniel Levin captures the essence of the human condition in a delightful parable that will entertain, enlighten, and touch the hearts of all who read it. This simple and enjoyable story is a new adventure for all of us who desire to connect with and trust more of what is the same within us all.
-Rev Dr. Iyanla Van Zant
The Mosaic is a beautiful story with a profound message: Look past all the seemingly segmented parts of our lives and ourselves and find the unity and connectedness within the bigger picture.
